Routine Appointments

These are more in-depth appointments where you can choose a specific doctor or specialist practitioner

Specialist practitioners can help you with a mental health issue or a joint problem - these have shorter wait times than doctors.

You may wait longer to see a doctor but you can talk about any aspect of your health.

If you have had an illness for a long time, this is usually the better option

Urgent Appointments

If you have had a recent onset illness, or a recent deterioration of a long-term illness, this appointment might be better for you.

These have very short waiting times. You will see a member of the urgent care team.

You will not get to choose your clinician.

Home visits

Currently home visits can only be requested by phone. Please call 01543 682654

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice.

Your GP will likely phone you first to assess you and visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it.

You may be visited by a GP or a member of the practice urgent care team.
