What are urgent appointments?

Urgent appointments are for conditions that need immediate attention and can't wait for a routine appointment. They are shorter more focussed appointments, usually for one problem.

You will see or speak to a member of the urgent care team (made up of advanced clinical practitioners, nurse practitioners, paramedics, mental health practitioners and doctors). If suitable, you may be booked in with one of the community options listed below.

If you have a longer term problem, which needs a more in-depth review with a choice of doctor, a Routine Appointment may be a better option.
